We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Transaction Management to join our Asset Management Operations team at RHB Asset Management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing account onboarding and maintenance activities, KYC processes, alert monitoring, regulatory reporting, and transaction management operations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, effective issue resolution, and continuous process enhancement across the business.

What you will be doing

• Manage account opening, onboarding, KYC reviews, and static data maintenance for clients and funds

• Review and authorize account opening and maintenance activities to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Oversee system settings and supervise timely closure of operational and compliance alerts

• Manage and resolve client queries while ensuring high service standards and timely follow-up

• Coordinate and manage requests relating to internal and external audits, industry surveys, and regulatory reporting requirements

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory reports, e-invoicing requirements, and ST reports

• Review and monitor account maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

• Escalate operational challenges and risks proactively to relevant stakeholders before established deadlines

• Support and drive group-wide initiatives, system enhancements, process improvements, and change management activities

• Collaborate with regional offices, agency units, finance operations, IT, legal, compliance, risk management, audit, and other business units to ensure effective operational delivery

• Manage vendor and stakeholder engagements related to system enhancements, operating models, service level agreements, and outsourced processes

• Act as authorizer where required and ensure adherence to governance, risk, and compliance standards

• Provide guidance and support to team members in resolving operational issues and improving efficiency

• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, controls, and client experience

• Provide cross-functional support to other teams and sections within RHB Asset Management Operations when required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience within Asset Management, Financial Services, Transfer Agency, or related industries

• Transfer Agency knowledge and experience will be a distinct advantage

• Strong familiarity with account opening, client onboarding, KYC processes, static data maintenance, and alert monitoring activities

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk controls, and operational governance frameworks

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and RHBAM core systems

• Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to review and verify information accurately

• Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and levels of seniority

• Effective business writing, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines

• Proactive, adaptable, and driven to continuously improve operational processes and controls

• Experience working with internal and external auditors, regulators, vendors, and business stakeholders will be an advantage
