Maximum Term/Fixed Term (Fixed Term)This position is responsible for general consultancy on technical learning content and programs that drive skills enhancement across NAB's technology workforce. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose end-to-end program management, systems administration, and learning delivery excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technical learning solutions that address identified skill gaps and support NAB’s capability development.
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimisation of learning management systems and related platforms to ensure effective content delivery and learner experience.
- Collaborate with the Head of Technical Development Advisory and senior stakeholders to align learning initiatives with strategic priorities and transformation objectives.
- Serve as the lead technical expert, with a deep understanding of how Engineering teams operate, their capability requirements, and the learning solutions that support their performance, growth, and business needs
- Demonstrate hands-on coding expertise and the ability to develop custom technical learning assets, including practice exercises, assessments, and simulations that support specialised engineering uplift programs and certification pathways.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards across all learning content and delivery.
- Develop and report on key performance metrics, learning analytics, and program effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent learning experiences across multiple locations.
Essential Capabilities
- Strategic Learning Design: Advising learning framework & strategies and curricula aligned with organisational technology strategy and capability frameworks.
- Program Management: Overseeing end-to-end program delivery, including planning, execution, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement.
- Consultant mindset: Must be comfortable to proactively engage with senior stakeholders to discuss their business needs.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating internal technology stakeholders to deliver integrated learning framework solutions.
- Assessment & Analytics: Implementing robust evaluation frameworks and leveraging learning analytics to measure program effectiveness, learner outcomes, and ROI.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensuring all learning frameworks and programs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Other Capabilities (Key Skills)
- Strong program and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in advising learning technologies, authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate), and LMS platforms.
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities using tools such as Power BI.
- Ability to advise complex technical concepts into accessible learning framework Understanding of modern engineering practices (Agile, DevOps, Cloud, CI/CD).
Experience
- Familiarity with current trends and technologies in technical learning and development.
- Deep understanding of varied delivery methodologies.
- Proven experience in learning content design and development within a technology or corporate environment (5+ years).
- Demonstrated track record in program management and delivery of large-scale learning initiatives.
- At least one technical accreditation such as: AWS certified solutions architect, Azure Solutions Expert, Google Cloud Architect, etc...
- Experience administering and optimising learning management systems and educational technology platforms.
- Background in working with technical subject matter experts and translating technical content into effective learning experiences.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT environments.
