What you’ll do
We are looking for a commercially minded Revenue Strategy & Operations professional to help scale our revenue engine across ANZ.
You will act as a strategic and operational partner to ANZ commercial leadership, strengthening forecasting, pipeline management, target setting and commercial execution. You will combine rigorous analysis with hands-on delivery across Salesforce, commissions, reporting and commercial tooling.
During this 12-month engagement, you will lead priority initiatives that improve revenue visibility, operating cadence and process scalability across ANZ. You will also help develop practices that can be adopted more broadly across Airwallex.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia.
Responsibilities:
Commercial planning and performance
Partner with ANZ commercial leaders to identify growth opportunities, improve execution and raise the bar for commercial performance.
Support go-to-market planning, target setting and resource allocation across Sales and Account Management.
Analyse the end-to-end revenue funnel - from lead generation and acquisition through to growth and retention - to identify performance gaps and recommend practical actions.
Translate commercial data and business context into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Forecasting and revenue management
Establish and improve forecasting, pipeline-review and performance-management cadences across ANZ.
Monitor pipeline health, win rates, conversion, sales velocity and churn to surface risks, opportunities and leading indicators.
Build dashboards, reports and operating processes that enable leaders to make timely, data-informed decisions.
Drive quarterly target-setting and commissions processes in partnership with Sales and Finance, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
Operational excellence and scale
Own and improve core commercial processes across Salesforce and other revenue tools, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and user adoption.
Strengthen CRM governance and data quality to improve visibility and accountability across the revenue funnel.
Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring workflows and remove operational friction.
Design scalable processes that can be adopted beyond ANZ in partnership with Global Revenue Operations.
Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Customer Success and Operations to deliver effective process improvements and a seamless commercial experience.
Who you are
We’re looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience in revenue operations, sales operations, commercial strategy, business operations, consulting, finance or a related field, together with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience using data to analyse commercial performance, identify opportunities and make practical recommendations.
Experience managing or supporting revenue operations processes such as forecasting, pipeline management, quota or target setting, commissions, performance reporting or CRM governance.
Strong analytical skills, with practical experience using Excel, Google Sheets and Google Workspace to build reports, models and operating processes.
Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM and the ability to maintain accurate, reliable commercial data.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and other cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with SQL and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar platforms.
Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, SaaS or another international, high-growth technology environment.
Experience designing scalable processes, implementing automation or improving systems and tools across a revenue organisation.
Comfort operating with high ownership, evolving priorities and limited hand-holding, with a bias toward action, continuous improvement and delivering measurable outcomes
