About the role 

 At Dyson, delivering increasingly sophisticated products at pace requires clear, scalable and effective Product Development frameworks that provide structure, governance and consistency across the product lifecycle. As Dyson products become increasingly complex, software-enabled and subject to evolving regulatory expectations, Product Development frameworks must be implemented consistently and effectively to support governance, delivery quality and organisational learning. 

The Manager, Product Frameworks is responsible for the day-to-day operation, deployment and continuous improvement of Dyson's Product Creation Framework (PCF) and Product In-Life Framework (PIF). The role coordinates framework implementation, framework administration, adoption activities, stakeholder engagement and framework support, ensuring framework standards and lifecycle requirements are applied consistently across Product Development. 

Working closely with Engineering, DDIO, Business Units, Quality, Manufacturing and Product Leadership teams, the role enables effective framework execution, capability adoption and continuous improvement, helping ensure Product Development teams operate consistently across the lifecycle. 

Accountabilities 

Framework Operations & Coordination 

• Coordinate the operation and administration of Dyson's Product Creation Framework (PCF) and Product In-Life Framework (PIF).  

• Support implementation of framework standards, lifecycle requirements and governance expectations across Product Development.  

• Coordinate framework reviews, updates and change activities.  

• Ensure framework content, supporting documentation and guidance materials remain current and accessible.  

• Support consistent application of framework requirements across Business Units and functions. 

Framework Deployment & Adoption 

• Coordinate deployment of framework improvements, lifecycle updates and framework releases.  

• Support framework adoption activities across Product Development.  

• Develop framework communications, awareness campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.  

• Assist project and functional leadership teams in understanding and applying framework requirements.  

• Promote framework adoption, compliance and framework maturity across Dyson. 

Framework Policy, Process & Documentation 

• Maintain framework policies, standards, templates and supporting lifecycle documentation.  

• Coordinate framework change requests and framework improvement proposals.  

• Ensure framework documentation remains aligned to governance requirements, business needs and organisational priorities.  

• Support integration between framework content, governance requirements and knowledge assets.  

• Maintain traceability between lifecycle requirements, deliverables and supporting guidance. 

Framework Readiness & Lifecycle Support 

• Support readiness activities associated with lifecycle milestones and framework deployment.  

• Facilitate framework workshops, working groups and stakeholder consultations.  

• Support consistent interpretation of milestone requirements and lifecycle expectations.  

• Identify implementation challenges and opportunities to improve framework effectiveness. 

• Coordinate resolution of framework-related issues and stakeholder concerns. 

Framework Continuous Improvement 

• Capture lessons learned, stakeholder feedback and framework improvement opportunities.  

• Support framework maturity assessments and capability improvement activities.  

• Monitor framework effectiveness and implementation performance.  

• Contribute to lifecycle simplification, standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives.  

• Support broader Product Frameworks transformation programmes. 

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration 

• Build strong relationships across Engineering, DDIO, Business Units, Quality, Manufacturing and Product Leadership teams.  

• Partner with Product Governance, Portfolio Operations, Knowledge Management and Product Development Data, Systems & Insight teams.  

• Facilitate alignment between framework owners, process owners and subject matter experts.  

• Communicate framework expectations, changes and improvement activities clearly and effectively.  

• Act as a trusted framework practitioner and advisor. 

About you 

Professional experience 

• Experience within Product Development, programme management, PMO, governance, operational excellence or business process disciplines.  

• Experience supporting framework implementation, governance programmes or lifecycle management activities.  

• Experience developing or maintaining business processes, standards, policies or operating procedures.  

• Experience supporting organisational change, framework adoption or continuous improvement initiatives.  

• Experience working with stakeholders across multiple functions and organisational levels.  

• Strong understanding of Product Development delivery and lifecycle management practices.  

• Experience coordinating cross-functional programmes, governance activities or business improvement initiatives.
