Job Description: Presales & Technical Resource – Microsoft Technologies

We are looking for a techno-commercial Presales and Technical Resource with deep expertise across Microsoft Technologies to support enterprise sales cycles. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth (Level 300) with the ability to translate customer business needs into compelling technical and commercial narratives — leading discovery, solutioning, demonstrations, and proposal development. This role sits at the intersection of technology and sales, requiring both credibility with technical stakeholders and fluency in commercial/business conversations.

• Partner with the sales team through the full presales cycle — from lead qualification to solution design, proposal, and deal closure.
• Lead structured customer discovery sessions to uncover business outcomes, technology landscape, constraints, and success criteria.
• Design and present solution architectures spanning Microsoft Copilot, Data Modernization, Fabric, Azure Infrastructure, and Security.
• Build and deliver technical presentations, live demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoCs), and proposals tailored to customer priorities.
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technically sound and commercially competitive solutions and business cases.
• Articulate business and technical differentiation of Microsoft solution areas relative to competitive alternatives.
• Drive deal progression by removing presales blockers, aligning stakeholders, and maintaining momentum on agreed action items.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to both customers and the internal sales team, balancing technical accuracy with commercial pragmatism.
• Stay current on Microsoft's evolving technology roadmap, licensing models, and competitive landscape.

Technical Expertise (Level 300)

• Microsoft Copilot — architecture, licensing, use-case design, and adoption scenarios.
• Data Modernization — modern data platforms, migration strategies, and data estate transformation.
• Microsoft Fabric — end-to-end analytics, data engineering, and integration capabilities.
• Azure Infrastructure — hybrid cloud, virtualization, App Modernization, and cloud migration patterns.
• Security — Microsoft security stack (identity, data protection, threat management) and secure solution design.

Experience & Attributes

• Prior experience in a presales, solution consulting, or technical sales role within IT software or the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Demonstrated techno-commercial capability — equally comfortable in technical deep-dives and commercial/business discussions.
• Strong presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
• Microsoft Technology certifications at associate/expert level (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer, Security Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience building business cases, ROI/TCO models, and RFP responses.
• Self-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, competitive, quota-influenced environment.

• Experience with partner co-sell motions and Microsoft funding/incentive programs.
• Exposure to enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC, Challenger Sale) from a presales perspective.
• Prior experience in industry-specific solution positioning (BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.).

This role can be based out of Bangalore or Gurugram (NCR) and requires close collaboration with sales, delivery, and Microsoft partner teams to drive technically credible, commercially sound opportunity progression.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. MBA is a plus.
