Join Our Team as a Manager Payroll II – Lead Payroll Excellence and Team Performance!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop procedures for the preparation, documentation, and disbursement of all payroll checks, payroll taxes, and employee benefit payments.
• Supervise payroll operations and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Oversee and guide the payroll team, providing leadership, direction, and support to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant laws regarding payroll and benefits.
• Monitor team performance, conduct performance appraisals, and support the professional development of team members.
• Manage payroll-related audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other HR and Finance leaders to optimize payroll processes and implement best practices.
• Implement operational strategy within payroll to align with overall HR and organizational objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing payroll operations and leading teams within a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, payroll tax regulations, and employee benefit administration.
• Ability to implement and enhance payroll processes and procedures.
• Demonstrated experience in compliance, auditing, and process improvement.
• Effective communicator and team motivator with b problem-solving skills.
• Experience with performance management, including appraisals, pay reviews, and team development.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on operational excellence.

Ideal Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• Several years of progressive experience in payroll management or a related HR function.
• Prior experience as a supervisor or manager with direct responsibility for team performance and development.
• Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
