Title and Summary

Manager, Global Reach Program & Franchise Standards – LAC

Mastercard's Franchise organization plays a critical role in protecting the integrity, consistency, and value of the Mastercard network by establishing and maintaining the standards that govern how participants operate across the ecosystem. These standards help ensure a consistent customer experience, support trust in the Mastercard brand, and facilitate seamless payments globally.

The Global Reach Program is a key area of focus across Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting the growth of cross-border commerce and enabling international payment acceptance through Mastercard's ecosystem participants. The program requires strong governance, disciplined execution, and close collaboration across Franchise, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Product, Customer Delivery, Account Management, and regional leadership teams.

Role
The Manager, Global Reach Program & Franchise Standards – LAC will support the governance, oversight, and execution of Mastercard's Global Reach Program across the Latin America and Caribbean region. Based in either Brazil or Colombia, this role will have regional responsibilities and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple markets.

The Manager will help monitor program performance, analyze participant and transaction activity, evaluate adherence to Mastercard standards and rules, and support the development of recommendations that strengthen program governance and network integrity. The role will also contribute to standards implementation, issue resolution, operational oversight, and strategic program initiatives across the region.

Success in this position requires a highly analytical mindset, sound business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex and matrixed environment while balancing multiple stakeholder perspectives and priorities.

Responsibilities:‌
• Support the governance and execution of Mastercard's Global Reach Program across Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Analyze program, transaction, and participant activity to identify trends, risks, and opportunities while supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Assess adherence to Mastercard Standards and Rules and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive effective resolution of identified issues.
• Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Product, Customer Delivery, Account Management, and Franchise teams to support program objectives and governance priorities.
• Develop recommendations, executive communications, and governance frameworks that strengthen network integrity and support consistent program execution across the region.

All About You

• Strong data analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights.
• Experience in payments, operations, program management, governance, risk, compliance, franchise, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of the payments ecosystem is preferred; familiarity with Mastercard Standards and Rules is a plus. Fluent English required. Spanish and/or Portuguese proficiency is preferred
