About the role

As a Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of contracts, subcontracts, and related legal agreements, including their initiation, negotiation, execution, acceptance, and ongoing administration. The role ensures contractual compliance, mitigates risk, and supports strong business relationships with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Daily challenges

• Manage the initiation, negotiation, execution, acceptance, and maintenance of contracts.
• Oversee contract negotiations and approvals.
• Maintain contract templates and standard agreements.
• Collaborate with senior management on contract strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in complex contract negotiations.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
• Handle contract-related inquiries.

eXperience and skills required

• Master's degree in Law or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role / IT industry
• Proven experience in contract management and negotiations• Proficiencies in contract law, risk assessment, and contract drafting
• A continuous learner who stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) a plus.

It will be uploaded annually on 1st April. Ratio 1:1 for all benefits, the validity of the points is 12 months. • 5 weeks of vacation: Company provides 1 week of vacation entitlement above the legal requirements. Policy: Vacation policy.
• Sick Days: A sick day is provided by the employer for the case of an acute illness of an employee lasting for a short time or personal emergency. Every employee is entitled to a max. of 3 working days as “sick days” during a calendar year. Policy: Remuneration policy.
• Employee Assistance Program: All employees of DXC and their family members may use the services of company Magellan in the areas of professional coaching and consultations for business or personal issues.
• Flexible Working Hours: The company enables flexible working hours and the employee is allowed to set the start and the end of working hours by himself/herself, subject to an agreement with the manager and according to the habits of the department. The employee is obliged to work between 9.30 a.m. and 3,30 p.m. and fulfill contractual working hours in the calendar month.
• Multisport Card: Available for all employees. Payment for the card 1050 CZK monthly is deducted from the salary.
