Job Description:
Provides leadership, accountability, and responsibility for the operation of the SCO Woods Cross Facility.Scope
Responsible for the management and operation of the facility / business office.
Job Essentials
1. Maintains sound financial management of the facility / business office including: Monitors accounts receivable. Processes accounts payable, verifies charges, diagnose discrepancies and requests credits as needed
2. Monthly billing and invoicing for external customers – coordinates with SCO Finance for cost allocation for services provided
3. Reviews and supports the maintenance of inventory, supplies / equipment needs for the department .
4. Acts as a resource for patients and third party inquiries regarding lost items, quality concerns, deliveries, or soiled pick-up.
5. Participates in the development of annual operational plans (including scope of service) that integrate with the facility strategic plan and related departments' operational plans to efficiently provide services.
6. Participates in the development of annual operating and capital budgets, assists in monitoring and analyzing financial performance and productivity and implements necessary corrective plans and maintains and reports budget variances.
7. Operational responsibilities may include budget, monitoring AR/AP and achieving organizational goals.
8. Maintaining transportation expense, maintenance, registration and UDOT requirements for facility leased vehicles.
9. Reviews and implements those policies and procedures that guide and support the assigned services. These include, but are not limited to, federal and state regulations, regulatory standards, and quality programs.
10. Anticipates and identifies the needs of the facility / department and creatively implements solutions to problems.
11. Assists in marketing and promotion of facility / department services.
Provides Operational Support including:
12. Subject matter expert for Payroll, Human Resources, IT software systems utilized in the facility.
13. Provides support for all staff, fielding questions on Payroll, Human Resources, IT software systems
14. Assists in the scheduling, interviewing and selection of staff.
15. Assists staff with education, training, and surveys
16. Directs, motivates and evaluates activities of facility / department staff ensuring that goals and expectations are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or related 4-year experience
Three years management/supervisory experience.

Three years budgeting experience.

Proven interpersonal and organizations skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.
Experience in a healthcare related setting.
Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.

Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.

See and read computer monitors and documents.

Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
