Title and Summary
Manager, Account ManagerOverviewThis role is responsible for managing Mastercard's relationships with key Financial Institution (FI) partners in Vietnam, supporting the execution of growth strategies across a portfolio of strategic issuer accounts. The position plays a critical role in strengthening client engagement, driving business growth, and supporting the delivery of priority initiatives across both existing and emerging opportunities.
Given the concentration of strategic issuer relationships and growth opportunities in Vietnam, the role provides dedicated account coverage to support client retention, portfolio expansion, and execution of key commercial initiatives. The position requires strong relationship management skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Mastercard teams to deliver client outcomes.
Role
- Support the development and execution of account plans aligned with customer and Mastercard growth objectives
- Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned issuer partners and key stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to expand Mastercard products, solutions, and services within client portfolios
- Support revenue, volume, and market share growth across assigned accounts
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Services, and Customer Delivery, to execute client initiatives
- Develop business cases, presentations, and proposals to support growth opportunities
- Monitor account performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Coordinate the execution of strategic projects and commercial initiatives
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support long-term partnership success
All About You
- Experience in account management, business development, consulting, financial services, or payments
- Understanding of the banking, payments, fintech, or cards ecosystem
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify and support growth opportunities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and manage competing priorities
- Results-oriented with a strong execution focus and ownership mindset
- Experience working with financial institutions or strategic client portfolios preferred
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese
