Summer 2027 Managed Care Analytics Internship!

The internship will provide exposure to managed care contracts and opportunities to learn how to analyze and model commercial reimbursement. The intern will use Excel spreadsheets to develop payer models that support contract analysis and negotiations. They will participate in team meetings and contract modeling discussions related to active negotiations and ad-hoc financial analysis. The intern will also participate in creating the Managed Care budget and long-term forecast and may assist with developing programs, processes, or applications.

Full-time, dayshift anticipated from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday - Friday, with flexibility available to allow for student's class schedule as needed. This role will be fully remote.

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities are assigned based on area of concentration.
• Receives exposure to various aspects of health care from the view of the area of concentration.
• The incumbent is responsible for adhering to established Service Standards.

Education Required:

• High School Graduate.

Experience Required:

• No experience required.

Experience Preferred:

• Currently enrolled in Bachelors or Masters program within Business or Healthcare preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Current enrollment with junior status at a regional accredited college or university. Interns are expected to be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree
• Grade point average of at least 2.5.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability in successfully completing tasks.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
• Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
