Reporting to the Maintenance Manager in our Denver facility, you will lead the first shift maintenance team to ensure production lines, affiliated equipment, and facilities operate efficiently. This role is responsible for coordinating work and staffing to meet production demands, maintaining an effective preventive maintenance program, and supporting the plant's safety and uptime objectives. Working closely with Operations and other partners, you will help establish mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs that enhance equipment performance, product quality, and cost effectiveness. You will also leverage internal and external resources to provide direction, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement across the facility.

Expected Hours: 1st Shift - Monday-Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (minimum 9-hour workday), with occasional on-call responsibilities that may include weekends as business needs require.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Maintenance Technicians while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety, Food Safety Quality & Regulatory Affairs, and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.
• Direct daily maintenance activities to support production needs, equipment reliability, and facility operations.
• Manage contractor services, maintenance systems, work order processes, and storeroom standards to support efficient maintenance operations.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve equipment effectiveness.
• Lead root cause analysis, problem-solving efforts, and preventive maintenance improvements to enhance plant performance.
• Partner with Operations and other cross-functional teams to drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the maintenance budget and ensure effective use of department resources.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and electrical knowledge
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• 3+ years of supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of plant equipment and safety standards

Compensation 

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
