One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Loss Control Manager to join our growing team! 

We’re seeking a Loss Control Manager to lead the delivery of loss-control and risk-management services to the Trusts, Pools, and Associations we serve. This is a highly visible role that blends technical property and casualty expertise with leadership, public speaking, education, and client relationship management. You'll work directly with school districts, public entities, and other institutional clients — turning complex insurance and safety concepts into practical guidance that helps our members prevent losses and manage risk with confidence. 

How You Will Contribute:   

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve loss-control programs for our Trusts, Pools, and Associations. 

• Conduct property and casualty loss-control evaluations, identifying exposures across property, operations, vehicles, and facilities. 

• Design and deliver engaging loss-control and safety presentations and training, from small group sessions to large conferences and online platforms. 

• Develop and administer a property appraisal system for Association members and non-member school districts, using field data and electronic measuring tools. 

• Analyze claims and loss of data to identify trends and prioritize the initiatives with the greatest impact. 

• Build strong, trusted relationships with member organizations as their go-to resource on risk management. 

• Prepare and present quarterly loss-control performance reports to governing boards and program managers. 

• Manage the Loss Control department budget and collaborate closely with claims, underwriting, and program administration. 

• Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned. 

Licenses & Certifications:   

•  CPCU, ARM, CRM, CSP, or another relevant professional designation. (preferred) 

Skills & Experience to be Successful:  

•  Demonstrated experience in property and casualty insurance loss control, risk management, safety, or property inspection. 

• Strong working knowledge of commercial property and casualty loss control principles. 

• Knowledge of commercial property appraisal methods and data collection. 

• Ability to independently conduct field inspections, evaluate exposures, and develop practical recommendations. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong public speaking and presentation skills, comfortable with both small groups and large audiences. 

• Analytical and mathematical aptitude, with the ability to translate data into clear conclusions to non-technical audiences. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly, including some overnight travel. 

Preferred: 

• Bachelor's degree in risk management, insurance, safety, business, engineering, construction, public administration, or related field. 

• Experience working with public entities, governmental organizations, school districts, or other institutional clients. 

• Experience developing organizational safety or loss control programs. 

• Experience presenting at conferences, professional associations, or board meetings.

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
