This role is responsible for guiding team activities, monitoring service levels, providing expertise on licensing processes, and supporting operational improvements to maintain efficiency and mitigate risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise daily licensing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion of state and regulatory filings.
• Provide guidance and training to licensing staff, offering subject-matter expertise on compliance and procedural changes.
• Monitor key performance indicators and team productivity, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address escalations or resolve complex licensing issues effectively.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and state regulations related to insurance licensing.
• Identify and implement process improvements for operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Prepare reports on licensing metrics and compliance performance for leadership review.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing accurate documentation and records.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in insurance licensing or regulatory compliance roles.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is required.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS
• State-specific insurance producer or adjuster license preferred.
• Compliance or licensing-related designations (such as AINS) beneficial.
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Knowledge of insurance licensing regulations, state statutes, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret and apply state rules and regulatory mandates.
• Proficient organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex cases.
• Effective leadership skills, including coaching and team development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Proficiency in licensing management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
