About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Sourcing coordinator.

In this role, you will:

• Support performance and overall effectiveness of Contracts Negotiation teams, as well as cross-group acquisitions including negotiation reassignment on high risk contracts, due diligence participation and review of closing agreements
• Proactively provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Sourcing
• Perform or guide others on complex contract negotiation and supplier relationships of high risk that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
• Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day-work leadership and mentorship to Contracts Negotiation teams
• Lead or contribute to improving delivery, timeliness and efficiency of services that require coordination among various groups
• Provide subject matter expertise to immediate team and Sourcing on wide range of information
• Provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Sourcing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiating vendor legal terms and conditions
• Strong Experience in negotiation of commercial terms.

Job Expectations:

•    Develops Strategic Sourcing strategies and lead contract negotiations for medium to high-risk products / services.
• Well versed with contract principles and drafts non-standard contract terms and conditions
• Review, draft and negotiate Master Agreements, Statement of Works, Change Orders, Amendments and similar contracts
•   Research vendor contracts to identify existing relationships, rights, risks and proactively identifies and analyzes cost savings opportunities.
• Identifies and escalates risk-related issues and identifies alternative options/solutions.
• Maintains current status and engagement information related to active engagements in Strategic Sourcing systems.
• Ensures meeting all internal policies pertaining to contracts
• Ensure contracts clearly specify the right and responsibilities of each party to the contract
• Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements such as data protection including customer supervisory information (CSI), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) to protect customer personal information, etc.
• Develop Sourcing strategies and contract negotiations
• Review and analyze contract data, business goals and market conditions to identify cost saving opportunities
• Achieve performance measures while developing expertise in policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to ensure appropriate language is used to achieve final lease documents
• Research and respond to internal or external inquiries
