The Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical authority and trusted advisor for clients, engaging with stakeholders, governance teams, project executives, delivery teams, and technology vendors to define and drive infrastructure strategy and solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end architecture lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution definition through design, implementation, and successful delivery, ensuring solutions meet business objectives, timelines, and budget expectations.
• Design and govern enterprise infrastructure, data center, network, security, and cloud solutions, leveraging industry best practices to deliver scalable, resilient, secure, and high-performing environments.
• Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive architecture deliverables, including solution architectures, HLDs, LLDs, migration strategies, implementation plans, and technical roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight for infrastructure transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption, platform modernization, data center migrations, technology refreshes, and brownfield/greenfield deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to evaluate technology options, overcome complex technical challenges, and ensure optimal solution design and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, automation, capacity planning, and operational excellence to enhance infrastructure performance, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Lead technical reviews, architecture governance, risk assessments, and implementation activities, ensuring adherence to organizational standards, security requirements, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide engineering and operations teams, fostering technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and consistent delivery standards across projects and support functions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert guidance and ensuring effective resolution of critical infrastructure challenges.

Required Technical and Professional Experience:

Minimum 7+years of IT Experience with Solid understanding of Data Center mainly Systems, Storage, Networking & Security, Application & Databases

1. Network Platform Expertise: 

Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network platforms, including Cisco, Aruba, Viptela, Infoblox, F5, Fortinet, PaloAlto, and more. 

Specialized in carrier solutions, private cloud access, and virtualization. 

2. Network Security and Voice Solutions: 

Install, configure, and troubleshoot security solutions like Palo Alto Firewalls, F5 Reverse-Proxy, VPNs, and voice solutions including Oracle SIP Federation and Microsoft Skype Enterprise. 

Hands-on experience in migrating firewalls, upgrading firmware, and applying security patches. 

3. Cloud Hosting and Scripting: 

Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud hosting solutions. Proficient in scripting languages: Ansible and Python. 

4. Network Design and Cisco ACI: 

In-depth knowledge on Cisco ACI, Configuration of User attributes, Design and application of filters, contracts, and policies, Fabric creation and policy configuration, North-south L3out connectivity, Provision and configuration of multi-pod environments, Dynamic tunnel establishment for communication, Configuration of pod spine access policies, Cisco ACI multi-site configuration and global contracts, Implementation of micro-segmentation. 

5. Project Management and Documentation: 

Develop an understanding of customer engagements, producing project-related documents such as SOW, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, and Migration Plans. 

6. Network Monitoring and Maintenance: 

Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and resolve outages, latency issues, and bottlenecks. 

Collaborate with vendors for maintenance scheduling, ensuring minimal disruptions to network service. 

7. Support Proficiency: 

Handle Business Critical Network outages, P1, P2 incident and drive quick resolution. 

Provides 24/7 network support, including security and disaster recovery readiness. 

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, collaborating with IT professionals and providing support to L0 and L1 teams.  

Establish structured engineering disciplines for streamlined network support operations. 

On call support as needed 

8. Top 5 Skills in Network Domain: 

Advanced expertise in network platform installation and troubleshooting. 

Specialized knowledge in Cisco ACI and NextGen Firewalls. 

Proficiency in security solutions and voice technologies. 

Strong scripting skills with Ansible and Python.

• Networking Tools Such as SolarWinds, Panaroma, MRTG, ZABBIX, Logic Monitor, HP IMC, Airwave and Mobility Controller and well versed with carrier solutions such as Ethernet, IP VPN, Internet, Hybridization (Palo Alto Local FW and Zscaler) , Private Cloud Access Solutions and Virtualization Solutions (uCPE) 
• Next Generation: Firewalls Palo Alto, URL Proxification & Categorization, Reverse-Proxy: F5, VPN IPSec SSL, Cisco WSA, ASA, Firepower & Solution Virtualization 
• Voice solutions, such as Oracle SIP Federation: SBC, ECB, ToIP, VoIP, softphone, Microsoft Skype Enterprise; Cisco; Alcatel, Fixed operator solutions: SIP Trunk, PSTN, Mobile operator solutions: 3G/4G, private camera, indoor/outdoor coverage. 
• Experience in Cloud hosting solutions and related tools: AWS; Azure; GCP 

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

• MS Project or other Project Management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact confidently with stakeholders of all levels
