Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Markets Chief Finance Officer (CIB Markets CFO) team.

The Markets CFO team provides strategic advisory, supported by data and analysis, to the Markets Division Leadership that will drive growth, create efficiency, and define strategy. More specifically, this Lead Analyst will provide support to the Equities business in the Markets division reporting to the Equities CFO.

In this role, you will:

• Lead financial analysis and performance advisory initiatives for the CIB Markets line of business.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Markets leadership by providing strategic financial guidance and actionable recommendations.
• Develop and manage long-range plans, forecasts, and expense management strategies.
• Analyze business performance, identify emerging trends, and communicate key risks and opportunities to senior leadership.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations supporting weekly reporting, monthly business reviews, operating committee meetings, and quarterly earnings activities.
• Drive forecasting accuracy and enhance reporting methodologies to improve business decision-making.
• Partner with Markets and other stakeholders to resolve complex business and financial challenges.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of management reporting, operating reviews, and ad hoc analyses.
• Translate complex financial data into concise, actionable insights for executive audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking products, markets, and financial performance drivers.
• Proven ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide initiatives and deliver results through collaboration, influence, and effective stakeholder management.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize large, complex datasets into concise and actionable executive-level communications.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives and business leaders through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
• Proficiency in financial systems, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, AI tools, Alteryx, Essbase/Dodeca, or similar technologies.
• Visual/verbal data trend presentation preparation for management reporting
• Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
• Knowledge/understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
