Position Summary

KBR is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative (FSR Team Lead) to support a U.S. Army Prototype Commercial-Derivative Wheeled Vehicles Prototype Program. The Lead FSR will serve as the primary operational interface between the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Government stakeholders, and the integrated OEM-KBR FSR team during prototype development, testing, and post-test activities.

The selected candidate will lead field support operations for an integrated four-person FSR team consisting of two KBR and two OEM personnel, while providing technical expertise in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, operator support, logistics coordination, inventory management, readiness reporting, and sustainment planning. This individual will be responsible for developing FSR staffing and work plans, coordinating activities across multiple test locations, managing day-to-day field support operations, and ensuring successful execution of maintenance, logistics, reporting, and training support requirements.

This position requires approximately nine (9) months of training, prototype build support, publication validation, and system familiarization activities in Dearborn, Michigan, followed by extended travel and on-site support at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland and/or Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

This position is restricted to U.S. Citizens. The selected candidate must possess and maintain an active Secret security clearance and be capable of meeting all Government, military installation, and program access requirements throughout the period of performance.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as Team Lead for the integrated OEM-KBR Field Service Representative organization.

  • Develop and manage staffing plans, site coverage schedules, and daily work assignments.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities across multiple test locations to maximize vehicle readiness and availability.

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and restoration of prototype military vehicle systems.

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for OEM program leadership, Government personnel, and test agencies.

  • Support prototype build events, vehicle configuration reviews, and system integration activities.

  • Participate in validation and review of operator manuals, maintenance publications, parts documentation, and training materials.

  • Coordinate inventory accountability, parts management, and replenishment activities.

  • Support Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) activities and failure investigations.

  • Assist in the development and execution of New Equipment Training (NET), operator familiarization, and test support activities.

  • Maintain maintenance records, readiness reports, inventory documentation, and technical support documentation.

  • Support KPI tracking, dashboard reporting, monthly performance reviews, and customer status meetings.

  • Coordinate corrective actions to minimize vehicle downtime and maintain testing schedules.

  • Support logistics demonstrations, maintenance demonstrations, and user assessment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, configuration management, and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.

  • Active Secret security clearance required; ability to maintain clearance throughout employment.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum 10 years of military vehicle maintenance, field service, sustainment, logistics, or related experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading maintenance teams, field support organizations, or technical support personnel.

  • Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic experience on tactical wheeled or combat vehicle platforms.

  • Experience supporting vehicle testing, fielding, sustainment, military maintenance, or modernization programs.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer engagement skills.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and electronic maintenance reporting systems.

  • Ability to satisfy all installation access, military base access, and Government credentialing requirements.

  • Ability to work on Government and OEM facilities supporting prototype military vehicle development, testing, and field support activities.

  • Ability to travel extensively and support long-duration TDY assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Former U.S. Army Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (91B).

  • Former Automotive Maintenance Warrant Officer (915A).

  • Former Maintenance Control Sergeant, Motor Sergeant, or comparable military maintenance leadership position.

  • Experience supporting TACOM, PEO GCS, PEO CS&CSS, Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), or Army modernization programs.

  • Experience supporting prototype, developmental, operational test, or vehicle integration programs.

  • Experience with Army maintenance systems, logistics operations, inventory accountability, and readiness reporting.

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical, logistics, business, or engineering discipline.

  • Experience operating within integrated Government, OEM, and contractor teams.

Travel Requirements

  • Approximately nine (9) months of training, vehicle build support, technical publication validation, and prototype familiarization activities in Dearborn, Michigan.

  • Extended TDY assignments supporting developmental testing and user evaluations at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland and/or Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

  • Ability to support travel in excess of 50% during testing phases of the program.

  • Ability to support occasional overtime, weekend activities, and schedule adjustments associated with test events and vehicle readiness requirements.
