We have an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer to join our Commercial Insurance team in Perth working with Chris Rimmer.

About the team and work

• The team advises and acts for Australian-based insurers, London-based syndicates and underwriters and government agencies.

• The team also undertakes litigation and dispute resolution matters for a wide variety of defendant businesses nationwide; to include professional service providers, subcontractors, mining companies, hotel chains, retailers, and strata companies.  

• This is a unique role where you will have the opportunity to work across our practice groups on a variety of interesting matters to include professional indemnity, personal injury, property damage, medical malpractice, and construction disputes.

• The team promotes a culture of growth and actively encourages people to develop their practices in areas they are interested in. Therefore, we are open to candidates who have an interest in one or more of these areas of practice.

About you

• Prior experience gained in a well-regarded litigation practice with an interest in insurance law.

• You will possess strong advice skills, have proven file management experience and excellent attention to detail.

• Applicants from plaintiff firms and those in in-house positions are encouraged to apply.
