Key Responsibilities
Client Due Diligence & KYC Reviews
- Conduct KYC and CDD reviews for new and existing clients of Ayvens Hungary.
- Perform identification and verification of customers, beneficial owners, directors, trustees, and authorized signatories.
- Analyze ownership and control structures to determine Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs).
- Review, and validate client documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Ensure KYC files are complete, accurate, and maintained with the highest level of data accuracy.
Risk Assessment
- Perform client risk assessments using a risk-based approach.
- Identify high-risk customers and escalate cases to Compliance requiring Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
- Evaluate risk indicators including industry, geography, ownership structure, transaction profile, and regulatory exposure.
- Document findings and provide clear rationale for risk ratings and recommendations.
Screening & Investigations
- Conduct sanctions, PEP (Politically Exposed Person) and adverse media screening.
- Escalate suspicious activities, unusual circumstances, or compliance concerns to appropriate stakeholders.
Ongoing Monitoring & Periodic Reviews
- Support periodic KYC reviews and remediation activities.
- Ensure timely completion of ongoing due diligence cases.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with Account Managers, Sales Teams to obtain required information and documentation.
- Provide guidance to business stakeholders on KYC requirements and onboarding standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in KYC, AML, Compliance, Financial Crime, Client Onboarding, or a related function.
- Strong understanding of:
- Know Your Customer (KYC)
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
- Beneficial Ownership identification
- AML and Financial Crime regulations
- Sanctions and PEP screening
- Experience reviewing corporate ownership structures and legal documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with KYC screening tools such as LexisNexis, World-Check, Dow Jones, or similar platforms.
- Experience with CRM tools, Salesforce, onboarding workflow systems, or client lifecycle management tools.
