About The Role:
To manage Diversey NZ F&B in the upper North Island (Auckland, Northland & Waikato). To ensure high-quality account management is provided to at key Diversey customers through implementing professional account management processes. The position is also responsible for growing the business through additional applications both revenue and profitability at existing accounts. Tertiary qualified with industry experience an advantage.
Responsibilities:
New Business Development
- Implement department strategic plan in district
- Develop and manage sales pipeline
- Grow business with existing customers
Account Management
- Conduct regular customer reviews
- Monthly reporting (or as specified)
- Manage pricing and budgets
- Initiate and conduct return on investment (ROI) projects
- Implement customer management & service plan
- Day to day management of support engineers/service technicians and contractors including carrying out performance reviews and managing any performance issues
Technical Services
- Chemical transfers
- CIP & COP supporting services. Eg titrations, micro analysis
- Boiler & cooling tower water sampling & testing
- Dosing equipment adjustments, mechanical repairs
- Replacement of tubes, injection valves, pumps.
- Routine Service Duties as required
About you:
The ideal candidate will hold the following:
- Demonstrates safe work practices and can identify hazards
- Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems and solutions
- Verbal communication, customer relations
- Customer focused
- Results orientated
- Ability to work alone and as part of a wider team
- Able to prioritise and manage own workload with minimal supervision
- Able to be flexible with work arrangements and have the ability to travel
- Current drivers licence
- Experience with boilers, cooling towers or both
- Mechanical aptitude
- Previous experience in a sales/service and account management role
- Degree in chemistry/science or over 3 years’ experience in the water treatment and chemical industry required.
