As a Junior Pipe Design Engineer, you will participate in Flexible Pipe projects from the initial BID phases through project execution, working in close collaboration with Sales, Commercial, Engineering, and Project Management teams.
As a Junior Pipe Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing specialized technical knowledge and developing technical solutions as part of the BID process, interacting with internal commercial teams and external customers, including participation in meetings related to the work performed.
- Understanding relevant markets and customer economic value, contributing to successful BID strategies.
- Performing calculations and analyses using a combination of internal software, general-purpose software, and hand calculations, resulting in engineering reports and other project documentation.
- Preparing flexible pipe datasheets to meet customer material requisitions, considering industry standards, company design tools and guidelines, and technical expertise.
- Providing project engineering support from the proposal acquisition phase through project execution, supporting the work of all engineering groups, including Global Analysis, Ancillaries, Qualification, and Manufacturing
- Contributing to technical improvements within the team through the development of tools or the automation of analyses and procedures.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Hold an active CREA registration.
- Have advanced or fluent English skills.
- Have effective problem identification and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Have previous experience in flexible pipe design as a plus.
