About the Job:
As a Junior Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable backend systems that support our diverse business needs.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement backend solutions to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
- Assist in database design and optimization for efficient data retrieval.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with standards.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve functionality.
- Contribute to the documentation of systems and processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
About you:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience in backend development using relevant technologies.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of database management systems and SQL.
Desired:
- Experience with cloud services and deployment strategies.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
