Job Summary

The Jr. Risk Management Analyst will be an integral part of a small but growing finance team. In this role, you will work closely with the Treasury Risk Manager to assist with identifying, evaluating, and managing risk within the Company.

Essential Functions

•  Act as a cross-functional liaison, partnering with internal departments to gather, validate, and analyze exposure data required for insurance renewals, audits, risk assessments, and ad hoc inquiries.
•  Coordinate with insurance brokers, tour operators, port agents, vendors, and other third parties to request, review, and validate Certificates of Insurance (COIs), endorsements, and other coverage documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established insurance requirements.
• Review third-party insurance documentation against contractual and Company requirements, including coverage types, policy limits, effective and expiration dates, additional insured requirements, and other applicable provisions; identify deficiencies and coordinate follow-up and remediation.
• Assist in the annual insurance renewal process, including data collection, exposure analysis, underwriting submissions, policy review, and coordination with internal stakeholders and insurance brokers.
• Maintain vessel and operational insurance documentation, ensuring records are accurate, current, organized, and compliant with maritime requirements and internal standards.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management policies, procedures, controls, and reporting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen risk mitigation.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to risk, insurance coverage, third-party insurance compliance, and other risk management matters in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide ad hoc administrative and financial support for the Risk Management function, including creating and maintaining Purchase Orders within the ERP system, monitoring insurance-related invoices and aging, following up with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding items, and supporting accurate and timely processing of insurance expenses.

Competency

Education:   BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics

Skills & Experience: 

• Minimum 1 year of previous risk analytics experience in a mid-size company
• Previous experience in the Cruise industry is a plus
• Must be articulate and possess strong communication skills
• Detailed and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
• Self-starter, able to function with little supervision
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external partners, and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness
• Flexible, adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Software and/or Airtable will be considered a strong asset
