Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Journey-Level Millwright with a strong foundation in industrial machinery installation, alignment, and maintenance. If you have 10 or more years of hands-on millwright experience, take pride in precision work, and are comfortable working at customer sites across a range of industrial environments, this role is built for you.

What you get to do!

• Install, align, and commission industrial machinery and equipment at customer facilities in the Rochester area using layout plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Dismantle, move, reassemble, and reinstall machinery using hoists, dollies, lifts, rollers, and rigging equipment
• Align shafts, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and mechanical systems using micrometers, squares, optical alignment tools, plumb bobs, and other precision instruments
• Bolt, weld, rivet, and fasten components to foundations or supporting structures
• Operate lathes, mills, and other shop machining equipment as needed
• Perform rigging and crane work safely and efficiently
• Assist in mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards; participate in toolbox talks and safety audits
• Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions immediately
• Work as a member of a cohesive team, mentoring less experienced members
• Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks

What you will bring to the team

• Journey-level millwright experience: a completed apprenticeship program, journey card, or a minimum of 10-15 years of consistent hands-on millwright experience at a journey-level scope of work
• Demonstrated skill in precision alignment, rigging, and industrial machinery installation
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred but not required
• CDL Class A license preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required to successfully complete assignments
• Communication skills for effective interaction with clients, the engineering team, and strategic partners; interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills required
• Must be physically able to climb, lift heavy objects, work from heights, and enter confined spaces
• Able to work in hot, cold, and outdoor environments in all weather conditions
• Regular full-time employee, Monday through Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including overtime; travel primarily within the Rochester area with occasional project-based travel

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $30-$45. This range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the base compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this role may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and/or long-term incentives, subject to Company plans. The Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
