Join us as a Java Developer (Angular focus)

You will work closely with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and Business Stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly applications that solve real business problems.

Key focus: We are primarily looking for a Java Developer with strong Angular skills, where Angular and frontend development are the main areas of responsibility, supported by solid Java backend experience.

Location: Kraków

Hybrid model: Hybrid model 3 days per week in the office /2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

About the team: We are looking for a Java Developer with strong Angular expertise to join our AI Lab team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across both frontend and backend technologies, building modern web applications, and contributing to AI-driven and data-enabled solutions.

In our team, you will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain modern web applications with a strong focus on Angular frontend development and Java backend services.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Take ownership of features from implementation through deployment and production support.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute ideas for improving existing solutions.
• Perform code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Support application enhancements, maintenance, and technical improvements.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate effectively in Agile teams (Scrum / Kanban).

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Good experience with Java and Spring Boot (also MVC, Security, Data)
• Experience building enterprise web applications
• Familiarity with cloud environments, preferably OpenShift
• Understanding of frontend architecture and UI best practices
• Experience integrating applications with REST APIs
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience working in Agile teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Focus on code quality and maintainability
