IVX Health is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to help maintain, secure, and improve the technology systems that support our growing organization. This role combines hands-on systems administration, cloud management, advanced troubleshooting, and automation across our Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, endpoint, and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, a security-first mindset, and a commitment to delivering reliable technology services across a multi-site healthcare organization.

This is a full-time, hybrid position. This team member will be working on-site at our Brentwood, TN Corporate Headquarters a minimum of 3 days per week.

What You'll Do

• Manage Microsoft 365 & Azure Environments: Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 services and Azure cloud resources, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.
• Maintain Identity & Endpoint Security: Manage user access, authentication, permissions, device configurations, software deployment, and endpoint security to protect company systems and information.
• Support Enterprise Infrastructure: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud and on-premises infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, network services, and business applications.
• Monitor Performance & Resolve Complex Issues: Identify and address system performance concerns, lead root cause analysis, and provide advanced technical support to resolve complex incidents and prevent recurring issues.
• Strengthen Security & System Resilience: Maintain secure configurations, coordinate vulnerability remediation, support backup and recovery processes, and help ensure compliance with healthcare privacy and security requirements, including HIPAA.
• Improve Efficiency Through Automation: Develop scripts and automated processes to streamline system administration, improve consistency, and support operational reporting and troubleshooting.
• Document Systems & Deliver Projects: Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and support procedures while collaborating with internal teams and vendors to implement technology improvements and transition new services into ongoing support.

Essential Competencies & Skills

• Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, virtualization, storage, and hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, with experience in Microsoft Graph, Azure CLI, Python, or other automation tools preferred.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, wireless networks, and secure connectivity.
• Experience with system monitoring, patching, backup and disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across cloud platforms, identity, endpoints, servers, networks, and applications.
• Understanding of security best practices, least-privilege access, change control, and healthcare technology compliance.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and support distributed teams.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in systems engineering, cloud administration, or enterprise systems administration.
• Demonstrated professional experience administering both Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience supporting distributed users and business locations in a security-conscious environment.
• Experience with NinjaOne or a comparable remote monitoring and management platform preferred; healthcare, regulated-industry, acquisition integration, or multi-site operational experience is also beneficial.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using approved generative AI tools or copilots to support scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and IT process improvement.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI services, or AI-enabled workflow platforms.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, Identity and Access Administrator, or Azure Network Engineer.
