Description:
C3EL is seeking an IT Support Team Lead / Senior Systems Administrator to support our mission at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. The professional will lead day-to-day team support while remaining a hands-on technical contributor. This position coordinates workload, staffing coverage, ticket resolution, escalation, quality, reporting, SOP/knowledge-base maintenance, and support for DOD applications and end users.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate daily support activities across application support, end-user support, workflow processing, and mission support.
- Provide senior-level troubleshooting and user/account support for DOD business applications and coordinate with Government application administrators and higher-tier system administrators.
- Oversee incident documentation, escalation, follow-up, and closure through the designated trouble-ticket system.
- Coordinate workload and personnel coverage to maintain continuity during planned/unplanned absences and periods of elevated demand.
- Ensure weekly reporting, operational metrics, SOPs, knowledge bases, diagrams, and other required documentation are accurate and timely.
- Serve as a technical SME during recurring and ad-hoc meetings and coordinate with DISA directorates, field sites, and escalation teams.
- Support application transitions, account migrations, workstation moves, and configuration changes as required.
- Assist C3EL management with staffing, quality control, deliverable tracking, and transition activities.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating DoD/federal IT support operations while remaining technically hands-on.
- Experience with incident/ticket management, user support, application/account administration, escalation, SOPs, and knowledge management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Government users, technical administrators, and management stakeholders.
- Ability to meet applicable DISA personnel security and network-access requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD contracting, financial, document-management, identity/access, or comparable enterprise business applications.
- Experience with SPS/PD2, ECWM, COPS, FABS, EDMS, CSS, FPDS, IBM mainframe environments, or E-ICAM.
- Previous DISA or other DoD enterprise support experience.
- IT service-management or DoD-approved cybersecurity certification relevant to assigned duties.
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma and at least 7 years of relevant experience.
