At ING Hubs Spain we are looking for an IT Audit Specialist

Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic IT Audit Specialist to join our ING Corporate Services Team. Corporate Audit Services is ING’s internal audit department and consists of around 410 team members globally. As IT auditor, you will be located in Madrid in the IT audit team.

You will work in a positive working atmosphere where people are used to an open communication style. Education and training are highly supported, and innovation is stimulated.

The responsibility of this IT auditor is to execute IT Audits in international ING entities. Audits will include key IT controls over different areas, such as Vulnerability Management, IT resilience, Security Detection and Response, Identity and Access Management, Change Management, etc.

Your key responsibilities:

As IT Auditor you will:

• Perform preparation for IT audits.
• Perform complex audit activities during fieldwork.
• Prepare the audit report and agree upon audit findings with the auditee;
• Follow-up on the fixing of audit findings.
• Develop audit approach for (new) audit topics.
• Provide input for the overall audit planning.

• You are experienced in executing IT Audits and are able to deliver on time and quality.
• You have well-developed technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and security aspects (penetration tests, vulnerability management, etc.) concerning IT components such as (but not limited to) platforms (operating system, databases, virtualization), public cloud platforms (e.g. MS Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), IT network, IT processes,
• You are skilled in the usage of data analytics tools during audits.
• You possess strong analytical skills, professional skepticism, and the confidence to challenge assumptions and established ways of thinking in order to identify weaknesses, effectively communicate related business risks, and recommend appropriate IT controls or risk-mitigating actions.
• You are naturally proactive, critical, and curious, you know how to ask the right questions and get the right information.
• You are able to agree upon your findings with the auditee, even when you have to overcome resistance.
• You are a team player who enjoys working in an international team and able to work effectively under minimal supervision You have the ability to share your knowledge and train less experienced colleagues on the job.

Skills Required

• A bachelor, master’s degree or equivalent in the field of IT, IT Security or IT Audit;
• In possession of valid industry certifications such as CISA, CISSP and CCSP.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in the execution of IT audits on complex IT services or processes, platforms, infrastructure and applications.
• Experience with working in international and complex organizations, such as the financial services industry.
• Fluent in English. Other languages are also appreciated.
• Willing to travel abroad for 2-4 weeks per year, depending on assignments.
