This is a hands-on, single-owner domain expert role responsible for corporate IT infrastructure, endpoint management, IT asset lifecycle, workplace technology, networking, identity and access management, and IT compliance. The ideal candidate will be comfortable independently managing the entire IT environment while building secure, reliable, and scalable systems for a growing workforce.

- Manage MacBook, Windows devices, peripherals, and other IT hardware across the complete asset lifecycle.
- Lead hardware procurement, reseller negotiations, AMC management, warranty coordination, buybacks, refresh cycles, and replacements.
- Implement and manage zero-touch MDM and endpoint security across macOS and Windows environments.
- Manage endpoint encryption, patching, EDR, security policies, compliance controls, and remote-wipe capabilities.
- Maintain accurate IT asset records from procurement through disposal, ensuring zero untracked devices.
- Manage ITAM/ITSM platforms and maintain accurate asset, service, and support documentation.
- Own corporate office networking, including Wi-Fi, VLANs, 802.1X/RADIUS, guest networks, firewalls, and ISP connectivity.
- Ensure network reliability through appropriate redundancy, monitoring, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Manage conference-room and town-hall AV infrastructure to ensure reliable meeting and event experiences.
- Administer Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, user provisioning, and access management.
- Manage joiner, mover, and leaver processes and conduct periodic access reviews.
- Maintain SaaS application inventory, ownership, licensing, renewals, and technology spend.
- Support SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance requirements, including endpoint evidence, access reviews, policies, and audit documentation.
- Ensure backups are configured, monitored, and periodically tested.
- Establish and maintain IT policies, processes, documentation, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, technology partners, security teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve IT reliability, security, automation, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor technology costs and identify opportunities for vendor and SaaS optimisation.
- Troubleshoot critical infrastructure, endpoint, networking, identity, and workplace technology issues.
- Ensure the IT environment remains secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.
WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT
- 6–11 years of experience in corporate IT, IT operations, workplace technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience independently owning an IT site, office, or device fleet end to end.
- Strong hands-on experience managing corporate IT environments in a product company or technology startup.
- Production experience with MDM platforms such as Jamf, Kandji, Mosyle, Hexnode, or Microsoft Intune.
- Strong practical experience managing enterprise networks using technologies such as Ubiquiti UniFi, Meraki, Aruba, or Ruckus.
- Experience administering ITAM or ITSM platforms such as Snipe-IT, Freshservice, Jira Service Management, or ServiceNow.
- Hands-on experience with conference-room and workplace AV solutions such as Zoom Rooms, Google Meet hardware, Neat, Poly, Logitech, or Crestron.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, device encryption, patch management, EDR, remote management, and security controls.
- Experience managing Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, identity lifecycle, and access reviews.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently as the primary IT owner.
