About the role
We're hiring Value Engineering Interns (6-month period) and Working Students (15-20h per week, preferable with full-time internship in the first 2 months) to join our team. You'll work closely with our Value Engineering Manager and with our Account Executives on live enterprise deals and lifting our operations to the next level.
Depending on where the business's priorities sit at any given time, your day-to-day will flex between two areas of our Value Engineering work:
Customer-Facing Value Engineering: supporting our account teams (Account Executive, Value Engineer) directly on deals
Value Engineering & Applied AI: building the models, tools, and content that make our own pre-sales function faster and more consistent
What You’ll Own
On customer-facing work
Help uncover where value is trapped in P2P, AP, S2P, and O2C/AR processes, and the real problem underneath the stated one.
Turn customer data into business cases: FTE capacity, cycle time, controls, compliance risk, and TCO.
Help prepare and run tailored demos, workshops, and executive presentations for CFO, CIO, and Shared Services audiences.
Support Proof of Value (PoV) engagements, from data preparation and analysis to the results readout.
Research and sharpen our positioning against point tools (OCR, IDP, workflow, RPA, process mining).
On value engineering and applied AI work
Build a scalable deep-dive knowledge platform to facilitate knowledge exchange with available AI tools (LLMs, AI assistants, workflow automation) to speed up research, analysis, and deliverable creation
Build and improve ROI models, business case templates, and value driver frameworks.
Keep demo data and narrative up to date and scalable
What we're looking for
Currently enrolled in a Master's program in business, finance, information systems, industrial engineering, economics, or a related field.
Interest in finance and procurement processes such as AP, invoice processing, P2P, and O2C.
Strong analytical skills and comfort turning messy data into a clear, quantified story, including in Excel or Google Sheets.
Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, AI assistants, or workflow automation), or confidence that you'll pick them up fast.
Clear communication: you can make a complex topic simple, in writing and live.
Curiosity and the confidence to respectfully question assumptions.
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast feedback cycles.
Fluent English, German is a plus.
Bonus: prior experience in consulting, presales, finance, procurement, or SaaS; exposure to ERP or business-process environments (SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite); experience with process mining tools; other European languages.
What you'll get
Live work, not a training exercise. Everything you touch supports real deals with real enterprise customers.
Work at the frontier. Use and apply the latest AI tooling in ERP automation.
A clear, fast path to a permanent role. For the right candidates.
