Job Description
All applicants must be able to work full-time and provide an internship agreement
Start date: January 2027
Duration: 6 months
Internship location: 151-151b, rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France
Based at CDPQ Paris, reporting to the Finance Department, the intern will be responsible for assisting all members of the Tax team – whether based in Paris, Montreal or Singapore – with their transactional and post-investment management files, as well as with tax compliance matters.
What you will do
- Take part in tax restructuring projects, supporting the lead Tax Director (verifying tax assumptions, reviewing documents);
- Carry out technical research (international tax treaties, databases) and draft summary notes;
- Assist with tax tender processes;
- Help prepare or review tax documents (advance payments, tax returns, tax forms, certificates of residence, etc.) in collaboration with the tax team and our tax advisers;
- Monitor legislative and case-law developments.

What you bring
- Higher education in taxation and/or a business school with a specialisation in taxation. Ideally, the candidate will be undertaking an Individual Study Programme (ISP) at the Bar Training School (or equivalent);
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Relevant professional experience (previous work placements or apprenticeships) in a law firm or within the tax department of a company;
- Mastery of French and English, both spoken and written.
Our hybrid model includes four (4) days per week in the office, along with an annual bank of flexible days of working from home.
