Intern – Learning & Development Intern – Plymouth, MN – Summer 2027

Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in paid intern opportunities at our site in Plymouth, MN. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.

Your role:

• Support the planning and execution of learning and talent development initiatives across the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD) business, including leadership development, onboarding, mentoring, intern programming, and learning strategy execution.

• Work closely with the Director of Learning & Development and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate learning programs, registrations, surveys, communications, and development events.

• Create learning resources, facilitator materials, job aids, and communications, while analyzing program feedback and learning metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Gain hands-on experience with learning technology and AI-enabled learning solutions, including Microsoft Copilot and LinkedIn Learning, while contributing to digital learning and AI fluency initiatives.

You're the right fit if:

• You are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Education, Communications, or a related field.

• Your skills include strong organizational and project coordination capabilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications: Microsoft Copilot, Forms, SharePoint, Teams, or Learning Management Systems is a plus, as is an interest in leadership development, talent management, employee experience, or organizational effectiveness.
• You're an analytical and collaborative problem solver who is interested in learning and development, employee development, and working across a global, matrixed medical technology organization.

• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 to $29.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN.
