THE ROLE

At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how client services and consultant relations works at an asset manager.
MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday – Friday (beginning on Wednesday, January 13th through Friday June 25th, 2027), and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.
Job Summary
This role will work closely with the Global Institutional Sales Enablement team to support the sales efforts of MFS's Institutional business. The co-op will gain hands-on experience across sales enablement, client segmentation, CRM strategy, content activation, analytics, learning, and technology. The position provides exposure to key business partners across Institutional Sales, Relationship Management, Consultant Relations, Marketing, Product, and Global Distribution Solutions while supporting initiatives that enhance client engagement and business development efforts globally.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Assist Institutional Sales, Relationship Management, and Consultant Relations teams with client segmentation initiatives, data analysis, and strategic projects designed to support client engagement and business development.
Maintain and enhance team resources and collaboration channels, ensuring information, updates, and key initiatives are organized and accessible to stakeholders.
Utilize Salesforce CRM as a central resource to maintain and analyze client, consultant, and prospect information. Generate regular and ad hoc reports, identify trends, and support efforts to improve data quality, reporting, and adoption.
Partner with Sales, Relationship Management, Consultant Relations, Global Distribution Solutions, Marketing, Product, and other business partners on initiatives that support Institutional client-facing teams.
Support the development and maintenance of enablement resources within Seismic, including content playbooks, curated pages, onboarding materials, newsletters, and training resources.
Assist with content activation initiatives by helping organize, deploy, and promote resources that support client conversations, business development efforts, and consultant engagement.
Analyze content utilization, platform adoption, and engagement data using tools such as Seismic, Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, and Microsoft Copilot to identify trends and support business decisions.
Create dashboards, reports, and presentations that help measure content effectiveness, technology adoption, training impact, and sales enablement outcomes.
Assist in the development and maintenance of onboarding materials, process documentation, workflow guides, and learning resources for institutional client-facing teams.
Prepare customized presentations, analyses, and meeting materials to support strategic initiatives, sales opportunities, and internal projects.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Seeking students with a strong interest in financial services, asset management, sales enablement, analytics, marketing, or learning & development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful insights.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, Salesforce, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable learning new technologies and working with digital platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
