RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer incoming calls and emails to the Inside Sales Department. 
• Generate Quotes, order entry, certificates, etc to move orders through the lifecycle.
• Represent and coordinate Burkert’s offerings to potential and current customer base.
• Partner and liaise effectively with Field Sales, Technical Sales and others to meet customer needs, drive full cycle sales coverage and achieve regional goals.
• Collaborate and interface with other Burkert departments, distributors, OEMs  and channel partners, as needed.
• Focus on a growing understanding of Burkert products, markets, applications, and distributor models.
• Develop a functional understanding of the customer’s needs as related to the Burkert products or services being sold.
• Complete rotation of training courses to gain knowledge of products, selling skills, customer relationship skills and others as needed.
• Participate in trade shows and onsite/offsite customer visits as needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor degree is preferred
• 3-5+ years of customer service and/or inside experience preferably in a manufacturing, office environment

 Skills:

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office, including CRM
• Proficient using SAP Preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and/or knowledge of industrial products preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Quick learner, receptive to coaching, and collaborative.
• Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and follow-up skills
• High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, initiative-taking, and goal oriented
