Experience: 5-8 years
Location: Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, Delhi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Timings: 9AM - 6PM IST
Reports to: Manager, Infrastructure
Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Automation Engineer to reduce manual infrastructure work and build reliable, secure and repeatable processes across Atari’s on-premises and cloud environments.
The immediate focus will be access management automation, Infrastructure as Code, virtual machine and compute provisioning, and practical operational automation. This is primarily an individual contributor role requiring technical ownership and effective collaboration with infrastructure and development teams.
What You’ll Do
- Automate user, service-account and system access provisioning and deprovisioning across on-premises and cloud environments through secure and auditable workflows.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for virtual machines, compute environments and infrastructure services.
- Automate repeatable provisioning, configuration and deployment activities to reduce manual effort and friction for development teams, studios and partners.
- Improve the reliability, consistency and utilization of on-premises infrastructure while supporting Atari’s evolving hybrid cloud direction.
- Automate repeatable security checks, remediation and incident-response activities, with clear boundaries for unattended actions and required approvals.
- Own automation initiatives from problem definition through implementation, testing, documentation and handover, working closely with infrastructure, DevOps, security and development teams.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, cloud infrastructure or a similar production engineering role.
- Strong practical experience with Terraform and Ansible in production or production-like environments.
- Hands-on experience managing and automating both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash, with a good understanding of Linux systems and production operations.
- Experience with access management, IAM, identity lifecycle or automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Practical understanding of infrastructure security, incident response, change management and safe remediation.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure and exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
- Experience with Docker, containerized workloads or Kubernetes; Kubernetes is not mandatory.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch or Datadog.
- Exposure to CloudFormation, AI-assisted infrastructure tools or AIOps, and relevant cloud or DevOps certifications. These are beneficial but not mandatory.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a company building in the gaming space, not just hiring for it
- Own your work end-to-end with meaningful autonomy
- Direct access to leadership—your ideas won’t get lost in layers
- Hybrid setup with a flexible, trust-driven work environment
- Comprehensive medical cover at zero cost to you
- Regular team engagement initiatives that actually bring people together
- Work with a team that’s ambitious, collaborative, and genuinely fun.
