Position Summary:
This is a multi-faceted information security position requiring a qualified security professional in support of multiple Rolls-Royce Defense programs and support of our corporate security standards across all sites.
What you will be doing:
- Creation and execution of Assessment and Authorization artifacts (System Security Plans (SSP), Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), etc).
- System self-inspections, continuous auditing, and oversight.
- Sustainment activities (maintenance, hardware/software changes, account creation, assured file transfers, patching, etc).
- Interface with internal and external customers on a daily or weekly cadence.
- Manage time, priorities, analyze problems and provide sound solutions.
Basic Requirements:
- Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
- Master's degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- In lieu of a degree, you must have at least 9 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience with 32 CFR 117 NISPOM, NIST 800-53/53a, DCSA Assessment and Authorization Guide (DAAG), Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG).
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, which requires US citizenship.
Preferred Requirements:
- Prior ISSO and/or ISSM experience.
- Working knowledge of MUSA, ISOL and WANs.
- Basic knowledge of COMSEC.
- Experience with Incident Response, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and Disaster Recovery.
- Ability to work in a teaming environment and individually.
- Accurate verbal and communication skills.
- DoD 8570 IAM III compliant certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.) Must be able to obtain within 3-6 months of being appointed.
- Working knowledge with eMASS to include submission of systems.
- Experience with Window and Linux OS as well as Virtual Machines/Zero Clients.
- Experience with monitoring/hardening tools; SPLUNK, NESSUS, SCAP.
