Industrial Services Supervisor

Join EnerMech and Lead the Delivery of Critical Industrial Services Projects
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Services Supervisor to join our Gladstone team and play a key role in delivering safe, efficient and high-quality industrial services projects across a variety of client sites.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising Industrial Services crews undertaking high and ultra-high pressure water jetting, industrial cleaning, shutdown, maintenance and project activities. You will serve as the key interface between our workforce, clients and Project Management team while actively supporting operations in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate Industrial Services crews across multiple client sites.
- Lead high pressure water jetting and industrial cleaning activities in accordance with EnerMech procedures and client requirements.
- Plan daily work activities, allocate labour and equipment, and ensure work scopes are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments and ensure compliance with permit systems and site safety requirements.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching and leadership to technicians.
- Monitor job progress, productivity, labour utilisation and equipment performance.
- Complete and review daily reports, timesheets and project documentation.
- Liaise directly with clients regarding work progress, scope changes and operational requirements.
- Identify opportunities for additional works and communicate these with Project Management.
- Promote a strong safety culture and mentor team members to maintain competencies and performance standards.
Requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring strong industrial services experience, practical leadership skills and a commitment to delivering work safely and efficiently.
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in High Pressure Water Jetting and Industrial Services operations.
- Previous supervisory, leading hand or crew leadership experience within a heavy industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of high pressure water jetting equipment, pumps, hoses, tooling and associated safe work practices.
- Proven ability to lead teams in permit-controlled industrial environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Ability to work shutdown rosters including 12-hour day and night shifts, weekends and varied work schedules when required.
Qualifications & Tickets
- MSMSS00018 – Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting System (or equivalent competency).
- Construction White Card.
- First Aid/CPR (desirable).
- Confined Space, Working at Heights, Forklift and EWP tickets highly regarded.
- Additional industrial cleaning or vacuum loading competencies advantageous.
Experience
- Ideally 5+ years' experience within Industrial Services and high-pressure water jetting operations.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Supervisor, Leading Hand or similar leadership role preferred.
