Grow Our Own (GO2) – Industrial Sales Account Manager Trainee
GO2 is our 12-month development program designed for recent graduates and early career individuals who are interested in starting a career in industrial sales. You will receive comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship, preparing you to transition into a full-time outside sales/account manager role in an assigned territory (Minneapolis, MN) with K+S Services.
What You Will Do
- Participate in structured training at our headquarters where you will receive ongoing mentorship, professional development, and in-depth product training
- Learn full cycle outside sales skills and build relationships with new and existing customers to solve real-world customer problems through technical and product solutions
- Work alongside experienced Account Managers on joint sales calls visiting customers on-site
- Ability to relocate to Addison, IL for 12 months of training at our corporate headquarters
What You Will Need
- Associate degree or technical training and 2 years of experience in a related field OR bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Sales, in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field
- Internship or co-op experience in a sales/distribution or manufacturing environment or individuals with mechanical interest/aptitude preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be outgoing, friendly, approachable to build relationships with peers and potential customers with a commitment to delivering top results in a performance-based environment
What We Offer
This is a full-time, paid position with a transition into a full-time Account Manager upon completion of the program.
Compensation: $55,000 to $62,000 / year with opportunity for bonus during the training program.
At successful completion of the training program you will be promoted to an Account Manager and eligible for sales commission.
