MUSC Health Florence is seeking a full-time BC/BE Internal Medicine physician who is interested in building a rewarding career within a well-known academic health system. This is an opportunity for a physician to serve in a hybrid position encompassing both inpatient and outpatient primary care.

MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is a leading regional acute care facility comprised of 396 patient beds, more than 1,500 employees, and nearly 300 physicians representing all major specialties. Our extensive range of services include an Emergency Department, heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, minimally invasive orthopaedic and general surgery, diagnostics, women’s health and rehabilitation services.

Required Qualifications:

• BC/BE in Internal Medicine

• Unrestricted SC licensure before start date

• Federal and state-controlled substance registration before start date

Position Highlights:

• Split time rounding in the hospital and treating patients in the primary care clinic

• Dedicated onsite support staff

• Collaborative environment with dedicated Physician and Advanced Practice Provider support, plus local subspecialty back-up

• Manageable patient census with a focus on patient care outcomes

• Radiology, Lab, Anesthesia, Ortho, Vascular, Cath Lab and Surgical Services available 24 hours a day
