We are seeking a motivated and experienced HV Technical Trainer to join our team and lead the delivery of high-quality technical and safety training programs in this 7/7 rostered position.
Leveraging your High Voltage expertise, you'll design and deliver both classroom and hands-on training to internal technicians, mine site personnel, and external customers. You'll play a critical role in developing technical capability across the business, helping learners build the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and operate Caterpillar equipment and High Voltage systems.

In this role, you will:
Deliver High Voltage technical training programs to internal technicians, mine site personnel, and external customers.
Conduct classroom, workshop, and practical field-based training to support learner competency and confidence.
Facilitate training on High Voltage maintenance, isolation, switching, troubleshooting, and safety practices.
Deliver training programs that align with customer requirements, site-specific operating environments, and industry best practice.
Support the development, review, and continuous improvement of training materials, assessments, presentations, and learning resources.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to support learner success and capability development.
Collaborate with operational leaders, technical specialists, and customers to identify training needs and drive continuous improvement.
Stay up to date with evolving High Voltage technologies, Caterpillar equipment systems, industry standards, and legislative requirements.

About you:
Electrical Trade Qualification with significant High Voltage experience.
Demonstrated experience working with High Voltage systems within mining, heavy industry, power generation, or mobile equipment environments.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable).
Experience delivering technical training, coaching, mentoring, or capability development programs (highly regarded).
Strong understanding of High Voltage safety requirements, legislation, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to adapt training delivery to suit a range of audiences and learning styles.
Willingness to travel to customer and mine sites as required.
