The Human Resources Co-op is a member of the Employee Experience (EE) team and will report into the EE team, while also working as part of the broader Human Resources team. The role will support Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP), Staffing, and Program Management, and provide project support across HR as needed, including to the Talent Acquisition team. This role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of HR activities that contribute to the employee lifecycle, workforce planning, talent management, recruitment, and employee experience.

Working closely with HR professionals across Brattle, the co-op will gain practical experience supporting strategic HR initiatives while ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional service to employees and managers.

Major Responsibilities:

• Assist Employee Experience team with day-to-day employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, employee communications, and HR processes.
• Support performance management and talent development initiatives through coordination, tracking, and reporting.
• Help prepare presentations, reports, dashboards, and HR materials for meetings and leadership discussions.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on HR best practices and emerging trends.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
• Support special HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to employee inquiries or directing requests to the appropriate HR team member.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
• Participate in cross-functional Employee Experience initiatives and special projects.
• Assist the Talent Acquisition team with day-to-day recruitment activities and project work, including defining interview competencies, updating recruitment documentation, and refreshing recruitment marketing materials.
• Participate in sourcing exercises and conduct research on relevant recruitment events, job boards, and talent networks.

THE CANDIDATE

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Previous co-op or internship experience preferred.
• Strong interest in Human Resources, talent management, or employee experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, customer-service mindset.
• This role is hybrid, requiring at least 2-3 days in the Boston office (including Thursdays).

The anticipated gross hourly rate for this position in Boston is $20-25.
