About the role:
As a Human Resources Manager, you will act as the key HR leader for a large manufacturing site, partnering with business leaders and employees to create a high-performing, engaged, and inclusive workplace. You will provide strategic and operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle, helping to drive organisational success through people-focused initiatives and HR best practice.
Working closely with regional HR colleagues, managers, and leadership teams, you will play a vital role in talent management, employee relations, performance development, culture, compliance, and people programmes that support business growth.
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as the HR leadership partner for a 500+ employee manufacturing facility, providing expert guidance and coaching to leaders and teams
- Support managers with performance management, employee relations, career development, talent reviews, and people decisions
- Lead and support key HR processes including benefits administration, leave management, onboarding, talent calibration, and performance reviews
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to deliver an outstanding candidate and onboarding experience, including Workday administration and new starter orientation
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of local people programmes, culture initiatives, and employee engagement activities
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, and risk management requirements while supporting broader business projects and change initiatives.
About you:
- 10+ years of HR experience with strong generalist knowledge across multiple HR disciplines
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, with CIPD Fellowship desirable
- Proven experience partnering with leaders and providing trusted advice on performance, employee relations, and organisational challenges
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment compliance, talent management, and employee development
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR systems, with experience in benefits administration and payroll support being advantageous.
