Position Overview
Are you an experienced HR or Total Rewards professional looking to use your expertise to support a variety of clients while enjoying greater flexibility and work-life balance? BPM is seeking an HR & Total Rewards Consultant to join our collaborative HR Consulting team!
In this role, you'll partner with clients to provide both strategic guidance and hands-on support across HR, employee benefits, compensation strategy, and Total Rewards programs. We're looking for someone who brings strong experience in benefits strategy and plan design, open enrollment, benefits compliance, and compensation philosophy, with the ability to align people programs with organizational culture and business goals.
The ideal candidate has a background in Total Rewards leadership, HR Business Partner (HRBP) responsibilities, or HR consulting, with the ability to advise business leaders, navigate employee relations matters, and develop practical, employee-focused solutions. Experience overseeing compensation and benefits programs is especially valuable, while technical compensation analytics and benchmarking experience are a plus.
We're looking for a proactive problem solver who builds trusted relationships, works independently, and can confidently adapt to different client environments. Previous consulting experience supporting multiple clients is highly preferred.
This is a remote opportunity with a strong preference for candidates located on the West Coast, ideally in the San Francisco Bay Area, to accommodate occasional client visits and collaboration.
At BPM, you'll have the flexibility to work differently without sacrificing meaningful, challenging work. You'll also be part of a supportive team of HR professionals who bring diverse experiences and perspectives and collaborate to deliver exceptional client service.
When considering a new opportunity, it's natural to have questions. Here are a few things we get asked all the time:
If I am working part-time, can I still be eligible for benefits?
BPM employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week are eligible for paid holidays, PTO, health insurance benefits, and more!
I am tired of the daily grind of a commute. Where are you located?
With the exception of scheduled client visits and virtual meetings, you can work from the comfort of your own home! While this is a remote role, candidates located in San Francisco or the surrounding Bay Area are especially encouraged to apply.
What makes BPM's HR Consulting team so special?
The people! Each of us comes from different backgrounds and brings unique experiences to the table. You aren't expected to know it all. We're a collaborative team of HR professionals who support one another while delivering meaningful solutions to our clients.
