We are seeking a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner to support a growing technology organization while helping strengthen employee and manager capability through targeted learning and development initiatives. This role will partner closely with leaders on talent management, employee relations, performance, organizational effectiveness, engagement, workforce planning, and talent acquisition needs, while also coordinating training programs and administering Cornerstone. The ideal candidate brings experience in payments, fintech, SaaS, or a similarly fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position based out of our headquarters in Philadelphia.
Main Job Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted HR Business Partner to leaders and employees, translating business priorities into practical people, talent, and organizational strategies.
Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, team effectiveness, and organizational change.
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, development priorities, employee engagement, and retention.
Support full-cycle recruiting needs, including role intake, sourcing, candidate pipeline development, interview coordination, candidate assessment, and offer partnership.
Coach hiring managers on effective interviewing and selection practices while helping deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience.
Use applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and related recruiting tools to maintain accurate candidate workflows and support hiring outcomes.
Identify capability gaps and translate business needs into focused learning plans for employees, managers, and teams.
Coordinate the design, delivery, communication, and evaluation of training programs, including manager development, onboarding, compliance, professional skills, and role-specific learning.
Administer and optimize Cornerstone, including assignments, curricula, user records, completion tracking, reporting, content management, and learner and manager support.
Partner with subject-matter experts and external vendors to develop or source effective learning content and maintain accurate, current course materials.
Use learning data, employee feedback, performance trends, and business outcomes to assess program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Support compensation, job leveling, talent acquisition, and organizational effectiveness initiatives as business needs require.
Develop Excel-based reporting and analyses for talent, learning, recruiting, headcount, engagement, and workforce planning.
Use AI and automation responsibly to improve HR service delivery, learning content, recruiting workflows, documentation, reporting, and the employee and candidate experience.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
6+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable role supporting leaders and employees.
Hands-on experience administering Cornerstone Learning Management System is required, including course assignments, completion tracking, reporting, content management, and user support.
Experience identifying training needs and coordinating or facilitating employee, manager, compliance, onboarding, or professional development programs.
Experience supporting recruiting and talent acquisition activities, including sourcing, candidate pipeline management, interview coordination, and partnership with hiring managers.
Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools, with the ability to maintain accurate candidate workflows and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders on employee relations, performance management, talent management, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and engagement.
Strong employee relations judgment with the ability to provide balanced, confidential, and practical guidance.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel-based talent, workforce, recruiting, and learning reporting.
Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels.
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, scaling technology environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems, with a willingness to adopt AI-enabled tools that improve HR, recruiting, and learning effectiveness.
Must be able to pass a background check and credit check and have authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting payments, fintech, SaaS, or other technology-focused teams.
