Job Description

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning apartment units and common areas of the community.  The Housekeeper is a customer service driven team player and must be able to take direction but work independently. 

Reports to:  Community Manager
Direct Reports:  None

Roles and Responsibilities
The duties listed below are an outline of the Housekeeper’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list.  As the needs of the community change, these duties may be modified as needed.

General

• Cleans and maintains apartment units
• Cleans and maintains apartment unit models
• Cleans and maintains vacancies
• Cleans and maintains all other public access restrooms and common areas
• Assist with monitoring inventory of supplies
• Report time and attendance
• Understand and adhere to the Landmark Properties policies and procedures
• Understand the needs and expectations of residents and exceed their expectations
• Develop a sense of community among the residents and staff
• Maintain an positive community environment for both residents and associates and encourage participation in events and activities
• Assist with the property’s turn

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• The employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; stand; sit and climb or balance.
• Specific vision abilities required by the jobs include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
