Role summary
As Housekeeper, you'll take responsibility for the cleaning and presentation of our holiday lets and occasionally our rental properties, making sure every guest arrives to a spotless, welcoming space. You'll manage day-to-day cleaning tasks, keep on top of stock levels for cleaning supplies, and help maintain the high standards that our guests expect, playing a key part in delivering an excellent holiday experience from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Clean holiday lets to the highest standard, ensuring consistently high guest satisfaction

• Support cleaning of other rental properties as required
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe down, and dust all areas; mop floors throughout the accommodation
• Change and make beds
• Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and recording quantities
• Ensure welfare facilities, including toilets and kitchens, are cleaned thoroughly
• Monitor stock of cleaning materials, carry out stock takes, and notify your line manager when reordering is needed
• Store cleaning materials safely and maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work area throughout
• Carry out any other duties reasonably required to support the delivery of our leisure offering to the highest standard

Working pattern

• Monday and Friday working days are essential
• Additional hours during the week may be required to cover team absences or workload peaks
• Occasional opportunities for overtime

Requirements

• Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to health and safety regulations including COSHH, manual handling and working at height
• Previous experience in a professional cleaning role
• High attention to detail, taking pride in your work
• Highly organised and able to manage time efficiently
• Willing to take responsibility and ownership of tasks
• Ability to work independently for periods of time and as part of a team
• Professional and personable manner
• Proactive and flexible approach to work
• Full driving license as travel is required
