As a Hostess, you are often the first point of contact, you set the tone for the guest experience with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. You bring strong communication skills, a sharp memory for names and faces, and a calm presence in fast-paced environments. With a solid understanding of daily operations, menus, and guest preferences, you create a smooth and welcoming front-of-house experience. Whether managing reservations, handling special requests, or collaborating with the team to optimize flow, you keep things running efficiently while making every guest feel truly valued. 

About you… 

• Experience as a Host/ Hostess within the industry. 

• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and table availability.  

• Assist in managing the waitlist and prioritize seating according to reservations and walk-ins.  

• Handle special requests or accommodations for guests, such as seating preferences or special occasions.  

• Bring guests to their tables and provide menus and have thorough conversational knowledge of menus.  

• Help maintain a clean and organized lobby/waiting area.  

• Ensure that tables are set and ready for guests and seat guests as necessary.  

• You must be detailed about everything from our menu at F&B outlets, who our current VIPs are - but also the hotel’s history and team members. 

• You are expected to have a strict adherence to uniform & grooming standards.  

• You must be able to have a strong collaboration with servers and management of both F&B and Front Office. 

• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
