The DCX Client Services - Home-Based Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for supporting purchasing activities by monitoring purchase orders, coordinating with domestic and international suppliers, tracking incoming materials, and maintaining accurate shipping and arrival information. The role will also support order entry, purchase order billing, and quality control for custom orders from overseas suppliers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor weekly purchase order reports and track the status of incoming materials.

• Create and place purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers for custom items.

• Obtain weekly updates from suppliers on open POs to maintain accurate ship and arrival dates in the system.

• Expedite or defer deliveries as needed to support operational requirements.

• Collaborate with receiving and accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate PO billing.

• Communicate quality issues to manager and coordinate corrective actions.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation.

• Order entry.

• Quality control via pictures of each custom order from overseas supplier.

• Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Education: College degree in Marketing, Communications, and Business Administration, or any related field.

• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Order Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, General Operations, Administrative Support, or any related field.

• Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills.

• Working Schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for maintaining purchase order reports, tracking orders, and monitoring shipping and arrival dates.

• Experience using purchasing, order management, ERP, or inventory management systems is preferred.

• Industry Specific Software/Knowledge:

• Knowledge of purchase order creation, processing, tracking, and follow-up.

• Understanding of domestic and international supplier coordination.

• Familiarity with quality control processes for custom orders is preferred.
