Join the LEGO Group and play a key role in the operation, development and future expansion of our automated High Bay Warehouse in Nyíregyháza. Working at the intersection of logistics, technology and continuous improvement, you will help ensure stable warehouse operations while contributing to projects that support system development, process optimization and future growth. You will collaborate with local and global teams, external partners and key stakeholders to support the development of warehouse systems while ensuring reliable and efficient logistics operations.
The position is based in Nyíregyháza, Hungary.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in logistics projects and ensure regular and systematic project follow-up.
- Lead Sprint Planning and Sprint Review meetings.
- Participate in automated warehouse expansion, retrofit and efficiency improvement projects in collaboration with global teams.
- Represent the Nyíregyháza High Bay Warehouse team in project meetings related to system development.
- Support the development of the high-bay warehouse and its associated conveyor systems, robots and equipment.
- Monitor warehouse capacities and identify opportunities for optimal capacity utilization.
- Identify system faults finding sustainable solutions to eliminate them, by collaborating with subcontractors, Maintenance, IT, Logistics peer departments and management when required.
- Analyze processes, monitor results and drive continuous improvement activities.
- Propose and support the implementation of efficiency-enhancing work methods and processes.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners and logistics service providers.
- Prepare and present reports using WMS and ERP systems.
- Provide mentoring and professional support to Logistics Specialists, System Consultants and Groupleaders.
- Participate in benchmarking visits and support knowledge sharing across the organization.

The High Bay Warehouse team is responsible for internal distribution of materials and continuous development of our automated warehouse environment in Nyíregyháza. Working closely with Logistics, Maintenance, IT, global project teams and external partners, the team helps ensure that warehouse systems, equipment and processes operate reliably and efficiently while supporting future expansion and improvement initiatives.
As a member of the team, you will contribute to warehouse expansion projects, system development initiatives and operational improvements while collaborating with local and global stakeholders. You will help improve system performance, optimize warehouse capacity and support the ongoing development of our automated logistics solutions.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Must-Have Qualifications
- Preferably a higher-education qualification in Economics, Logistics or Information Technology.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operating an automated warehouse or carrying out similar system supervision activities.
- Leadership skills.
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications, WMS or ERP systems, and reporting tools.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of COMBI, SAP, SCADA, VISION systems
- Experience participating in warehouse expansion or system development projects.
- Experience with process analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
